COVID-19 Protocols for Youth Programs Fall 2021

6-Week Programs:

  • We will do touchless temperature checks at drop off. Please wait until your child has their temperature checked and is signed in at the beginning of every day. Anyone with a temperature over 100º F will not be able to attend until a negative COVID-19 test result is provided.
  • Please monitor your child for symptoms of illness (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell…) and email riversidecamps@gmail.com as soon as possible if any symptoms are noticed. Do not attend the program if your child or anyone in their household has symptoms of illness. Days missed due to illness will be pro-rated.
  • We will wash hands with soap and water whenever necessary, especially before and after eating or using the restroom. Hand sanitizer will be used frequently.
  • We will be outdoors the entire time – drop-off and pickup will be in the park where the program will take place. We will not be transporting the kids in buses.
  • Everyone will be expected to maintain 6′ of distance. Masks will be worn when this is not possible (when checking safety gear, for example).

We will not be wearing masks while on the river. Social distancing will be encouraged, but is not always possible while on the raft.
