Riverside launched the raft program in 2007. We started with two rafts, a pickup truck, and one trailer…customers had to shuttle themselves! Our first guide class consisted of about 10 guides. In the 12 years that followed, we rapidly grew that program to include 20 rafts, around 45 raft guides, and thousands of customers a year. Our culture is one of professionalism, while at the same time keeping fun front and center. Processes and practices are in line with what you would expect from a company that has that many lives in their hands each season.
