On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 6 p.m. at the park’s Heritage Center, Pocahontas State Park will hold a public meeting to discuss development of mountain bike trails and related facilities. Staff from the Department of Conservation and Recreation will provide an overview of the proposed facilities and gather feedback from meeting attendees. An amendment to the park’s master plan calls for construction of: DSC_2928
